Data protection is very important to us. In the following we would like to inform you about the collection of personal data when using this website. Personal data is all data that has a personal reference to you, for example name, address or e-mail address. We have taken extensive technical and operational protective measures to protect your data from random or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or the access of unauthorised third parties. Our security procedures are checked on a regular basis and adapted to keep pace with technological progress.

3. Purpose and legal basis of processing

Personal data is only collected when you yourself share this with us, for example when completing the contact form, registering or ordering our newsletter. We use this data exclusively for the purpose for which you have submitted your data. For other purposes use occurs solely after express notification or after obtaining your consent, art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. In specific cases personal data is collected on the basis of legitimate interest as per art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO (see section 4).

 

4. Processing on the basis of legitimate interest as per art. 6 para. lit. f) GDPR

The processing of personal data on the basis of art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR occurs in the following cases:

4.1 Collection of personal data when visiting our website

When visiting our website for information purposes only we only collect such data as is sent to our server by your browser. If you wish to view our website, we shall collect the following data, which is required by us to display our website to you and to ensure stability and safety.

–IP address, date and time of request, time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), content of request (specific site), access status/HTTP status code, respectively transferred data volume, website from which request originates, browser, operating system and its interface, language and version of browser software.

The legitimate interest of the controller lies in the faultless presentation of the internet presence and the ensuring of stability and security of the website.

4.2 Seminars

You have the opportunity to register for seminars with us. For this purpose we collect and save the following data:

- Position
- Postcode
- Town

- Telephone
- E-mail

When you register, we save your data that is required for fulfilment of the contract, where necessary also details of payment method, to the extent that this is required for fulfilment of the contract. Furthermore, we also save the data provided by you voluntarily for the time of your use of the seminar offers. Legal basis for this is art. 6 para. 1 a, b and f GDPR.

The legitimate interest of the controller lies in the practical necessity of a registration for the implementation of seminars and communication with the participants.

4.5 Website analysis

For the purpose of analysis and optimisation of our websites we use various services, as illustrated below. In this way we can, for example, analyse how many users visit our site, what information is most frequently sought or how users find the offer. We record data including which internet site a person concerned visits our website from (so-called referrer), which subpages of the internet site are accessed or how often and for how long a subpage is viewed. This helps us to make our offer user friendly and to improve it. The data collected in this process does not serve to identify individual users. Anonymous or at most pseudonymised data is collected. Legal basis for this is art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR.
The legitimate interest of the controller lies in the optimisation of the website via website analysis programmes.

4.6 Advertising

We use cookies for marketing purposes, to address our users with interest-based advertising. In addition, we use cookies to limit the likelihood of playing of an advertisement and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising measures. This information can also be shared with third parties, such as ad networks. Legal basis for this is art. 6 para. 1 a and f GDPR. The legitimate interest of direct marketing exists for data processing for the purposes pursued. You have the right to object to the processing of your data for the purpose of such advertising at any time. For this purpose we make available the following opt-out options for the respective services. Alternatively, you can prevent the placing of cookies in your browser settings.

4.7 Use of cookies

When you use our website, cookies are saved on your computer. Cookies are small text files that are assigned to the browser used and saved on your hard drive and which send certain information to the originator of the cookie. Cookies cannot carry our programmes or transfer viruses to your computer. They serve to make the internet offer as a whole more user-friendly and effective.

Transient cookies
Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include session cookies, in particular. These save a so-called session ID, with which various queries of your browser can be assigned to the session concerned. This enables your computer to be recognised when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.

Persistent cookies
Persistent cookies are deleted automatically after a specified time, which can vary from cookie to cookie. You can delete the cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.

4.8 Google Maps / Google YouTube

This online offer incorporates content from Google (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), such as YouTube and Google Maps. Prerequisite for this is that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party provider”) can identify the IP address of the user. Because without the IP address the content cannot be sent to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required for the presentation of this content. We strive to only use such content as is required for the delivery of the content to the respective provider of the IP address. However, we have no influence over the choice of the third-party provider to save the IP address, for example for statistical purposes. To the extent that this is known to us, we inform the user of this. Legal basis for this is art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimisation and economical operation of our online offer.

4.9 SalesViewer Technology compliance

We have implemented SalesViewer® technology, owned by SalesViewer®, to gather and store data for research, marketing and optimization purposes. This data allows creating user profiles under fictitious names. Tracking scripts are being applied to help generate simple company information. This information can neither be used to personally identify a visitor of the website without his/her explicit permission, nor can personal information be associated with his/her fictitious name. Generating and storing information can be denied at any time in the future by simply logging in to https://www.salesviewer.com/opt-out. 4.10 Applications

Following conclusion of the application process your personal data is deleted immediately, or saved for a maximum of 6 months, to the extent that you have not expressly granted us your consent for a longer storage of your data, or if a contract has been concluded. Legal basis for this is art. 6 para. 1 a, b and f GDPR as well as § 26 BDSG.

5. Data transfer and recipients or categories of recipients

The forwarding of your data to third parties does not take place as a rule, unless we are obliged to do so by law, or the forwarding of the data is required for the implementation of the contractual relationship or you have given your prior, express consent to the forwarding of your data.

Personal data that we collect is deleted with the lapsing of the purpose of processing or within the statutory retention periods.


 

7. Information regarding the duty to provide of the party concerned

There is no statutory or contractual duty to provide when you use our website.

 

8. Existence of automated decision making including profiling

Automated decision making including profiling as per art. 22 GDPR does not occur.

You have the following rights regarding the personal data that concerns you:

9.1 General rights

You have a right to information, rectification, deletion and restriction of the processing, to object to processing and data portability. To the extent that the processing is undertaken on the basis of your consent, you have the right to revoke your consent with future effect at any time.

9.2 Rights with data processing in legitimate interest

Pursuant to art. 21 para.1 GDPR you have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of your personal data which occurs on the basis of art. 6 para.1 e GDPR (data processing in the public interest) or art. 6 para.1 f GDPR (data processing on the basis of a legitimate interest), this also applies for any profiling based on this regulation. In the event of your objection we shall no longer process your personal data, unless we are able to show reasons worth being protected for the processing, which prevail over your interests, fundamental rights and fundamental liberties, or where the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

9.3 Rights with direct advertising

To the extent that we process your personal data in order to undertake direct advertising, pursuant to art. 21 para. 2 GDPR you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of such advertising at any time, this also applies to profiling, to the extent that it is associated with such direct advertising.
In the case of your objection to processing for the purpose of direct advertising we shall no longer process your data for this purpose.

9.4 Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to complain about the data processing to the data protection supervisory authority.

 

10. Contact via e-mail or contact form

When contacting us via e-mail or a contact form the data that you supply (your e-mail address, your first name and surname, title and telephone number) will be saved by us in order to respond to your queries. The online contact form for a confirmation contains the following information: Title, name, e-mail address, date of birth, telephone number and address. To the extent that we request details via our contact form that are not required for initiating contact, we have always indicated these as optional. We use these details to specify your enquiry and improve the processing of your request. Communication of these details is exclusively on a voluntary basis and with your consent, art. 6 para.1 a GDPR. To the extent that these are details concerning communications channels (such as e-mail address, telephone number), you also consent to us contacting you via these communication channels in order to respond to your enquiry. This consent may be revoked at any time, naturally.

The data collected in relation to this will be deleted by us as soon as storage is no longer necessary, or processing limited, where a statutory retention requirement exists.

 

11. Data transfer and intended data transfer to a third country or an international organisation
