Coil Coating

Coil coating is a continuous coating process for metal sheets (e.g. steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.) in which a composite material is created.

The coil coating procedure is best explained by “finish first, fabricate later”. The coils are first coated before being wound, cut, pressed, profiled, drawn, joined, and bonded until the end product is a coil. This procedure is therefore the opposite of the more common practice of applying a coating  to individual parts.
